Falak Sufi scholarships are intended to assist students from South Asian nations with a majority Islamic population. Selected candidates, mainly women, will begin a two-year master’s degree in Near Eastern Studies.
Students will be enrolled in a Near Eastern Studies Master’s degree program. The Falak Sufi scholarship lasts for two years. Falak Sufi awards scholarships in the social sciences. The Falak Sufi Scholarship is available to students from all around Pakistan.
About Falak Sufi
Falak Sufi was born in 1983 in Pakistan. She had a big heart, a strong desire to interact with and improve the world, and a smart, lively intellect. She earned a first-class honors degree in Political Science from the National University of Singapore.
When she died unexpectedly in New York in 2008, she was a much-loved and esteemed graduate student in Near Eastern Studies at the Kevorkian Center at New York University.
