Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate must be a Pakistani.
- Only Unmarried Males are eligible.
- ·Education Required: Intermediate, Graduation 2/4 Years.
- Height must be 5.4 Feet.
- The candidate must have the first division in academic records.
- The candidate must be medically and physically fit.
- · Graduates are eligible who secure 60% marks or above, with 50% marks in Intermediate.
- Serving army soldiers can also apply if they have passed Intermediate with 50% marks.

Age required for PMA Long Course
- Intermediate: 17-22 years( three months relaxation)
- Graduates with four years program: 17-24 years with no age relaxation.
- Graduate Level (2 Years Program): 17-23 Years
- Serving Army Soldiers (Age:17-25 Years No Relaxation)
Selection procedure of PMA 148 Long Course
Online Registration
- The first step of PMA is to apply. Interested candidates can apply online at www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk
Initial Computerized Test (Written/ Intelligence)
- Verbal Test
- Non-Verbal Test
- General Knowledge
Physical Test
Physical test includes 1.6 km run in 8 minutes and more physical exercises including:
- Chin-Ups: 3 repetitions in two minutes.
- Push-Ups: 15 repetitions in 2 minutes.
- Sit-Ups: 20 repetitions in 2 minutes.
- Ditch crossing:7’4” x 7’4” and 4 feet deep.
Initial Medical Test
- Candidates who successfully cleared the Initial Written test and physical test will be called for an initial medical Examination/Test at AS&RC.

ISSB (Inter-Services Selection Board)
- Candidates who cleared the initial tests will be called for ISSB Test and Interview. The duration of the ISSB test is five days.
Final Medical Test
- Recommended candidates from ISSB will be called for final Medical at the nearest CMH.
Final Selection
- The final selection will be made based on the candidate’s overall performance at General Headquarter.
Training
- Only shortlisted candidates will be go for training at PMA Academy, Kakul.
